What I'm hoping is that we can all exchange ideas about books, share what we're reading, etc.

Amos--I love this idea, though I'm a little freaked out because this is my first blog experience. I feel oddly naughty and vulnerable, but I like it. As soon as I read something with some sort of literary merit that isn't too embarrassing to recommend, I'll do it.
Okay, one more question--what the hell are you doing awake at 5:27 a.m. during summer vacation?
